Com apenas um ano foi viver para o Brasil, para onde os pais emigraram, e l\u00e1 viveu durante 28 anos. Em 1988 voltou para a sua terra natal, onde reside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reformado a partir de junho de 2020, foi nessa \u00e9poca que lhe diagnosticaram uma leucemia linfoc\u00edtica cr\u00f3nica, facto que viria a transformar radicalmente a sua vida. Apesar de nunca ter aprendido ou contactado com a pintura, Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio interessou-se por esta pr\u00e1tica, transformando-o numa atividade regular que considera quase uma terapia emocional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atrav\u00e9s da pintura abstrata, Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio entrega-se \u00e0 sensa\u00e7\u00e3o do &#8220;poder da cria\u00e7\u00e3o&#8221; e ao sentimento da descoberta que resulta do branco e vazio de uma tela preenchido por um fragmento art\u00edstico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio sente necessidade de partilhar com todos aqueles para os quais a arte n\u00e3o \u00e9 indiferente, o seu exemplo de tenacidade e de esperan\u00e7a, mostrando que mesmo nas mais dif\u00edceis situa\u00e7\u00f5es de cada um, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel encontrar um caminho de descoberta e uma luz que nos ajuda a ultrapassar os obst\u00e1culos que surgem nos percursos de vidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio exp\u00f4s os seus trabalhos na Biblioteca Municipal de Anadia, na C\u00e2mara de Oliveira do Bairro e no Centro Cultural Anadia Maior, em Anadia, exposi\u00e7\u00f5es todas realizadas em 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped
